Wait, Madeon is 16 years old? I know a lot of young amateur DJs who call themselves “Producers”. There are far too many that whip out some bland bass-snare beat underneath some sort of hip song, calling it there own. There’s absolutely no sense of ownership to it. So all these so-called “musicians” can barely compare to the talents this kid has shown in his remix of Yelle’s Que Veux Tu. He turns it into a song of his own. He understands the concept of voice in music. And he churns out an unforgettable, disco-infused electro beat.
This kid deserves all the spotlight he’s been receiving on the blogosphere.
